Panoramic Associates are proud to be working exclusively with Alderman Knight School, a highly regarded Gloucestershire Local Authority Maintained special school, to recruit a dynamic and dedicated School Business Manager (SBM) to join their leadership team on a permanent basis.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your expertise and passion to a setting that transforms the lives of children and young people. As the School Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in both the strategic leadership and operational management of the school.
Working closely with the Headteacher and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you will oversee the school’s finance, human resources, premises management, health & safety, and administration, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and supporting the school in achieving its educational goals.
As the lead support staff professional, you will also be responsible for the leadership and development of non-teaching staff, promoting high standards of professionalism and service across all support functions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a School Business Manager in a mainstream or special school setting
- Strong financial acumen with a successful track record in budget management and resource planning
- A solid operational background with strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
